My name is Yves-Michel Lefebure and I am a fifth year student currently completing a Master’s degree in Economics and Business Administration at the Norwegian School of Economics. I grew up in a bilingual and bi-cultural family with French and Norwegian as native languages. In addition to France, I have also spent an extensive amount of time in Africa, in Congo while I was younger.
Through my academic and extracurricular activities, I have demonstrated that I hold good communication skills and I consider both my written and oral English skills to be at a professional level. In 2014, I undertook an internship in Lagos Nigeria, at the French/Nigerian Chamber of Commerce and Industry. During the internship I was entrusted with conducting two market analysis reports within the oil, gas, electric and cosmetic section and also investigate a prospective mission within the metallurgic sector. The internship allowed me to obtain and further develop my organisational and planning skills. Working with colleagues across multiple nationalities and with different business cultures, I had to approach new ways of problem solving and adjust my own way of expressing myself to suit those particular teams.
The autumn of 2016 I wrote my master thesis about the VR technology's impact on marketing and business models in the future. This gave me a deep insight into new technologies and how important it is to understand them to succeed in the future.
I am motivated for a career where I will get the chance to constantly improve and develop, and hope to get the chance to express my motivation.
