A brief history

On a Software Engineering apprenticeship at BAE Systems from 16, working alongside studying for a Software Engineering degree, I gained valuable experience. At 22 I left to explore the world, returning 16 months later to work at Giant Software developing custom required applications. My best friend became my girlfriend, and so; I moved to Norway.

The serious stuff

I moved away from developing when I moved to Norway and fell into bar work which turned into bar managing which turned into restaurant managing which turned into managing many restaurants. The reason for this progression was due to analysis and attention to details. I used my software skills to create analytical tools and have never gone long without coding of some description.

The fun stuff

I am now engaged to marry my Norwegian girlfriend! So I'm here for good. Fully embracing Norwegian culture; I am learning Norwegian, I love skiing, and I love waffles! There's a lot to me more than tech, so I enjoy socialising and getting to know the people I work with.
