An aerospace/mechanical engineer, researching the impacts of offshore wind farms in a maritime context. The aim of my research is to balance the safety and energy efficiency needs of wind farms in a spatial context. My current activities include developing the concept of 'risk based maritime/marine spatial planning'; navigational risk assessment around renewable energy installations; lecturing on risk, safety & reliability; and occasionally updating my LinkedIn Profile!

My strongest skill is developing models, tools, algorithms and frameworks that incorporate past data and analyse future trends to allow proactive, dynamic risk management in diverse scenarios. 

Likes: Simulations, numerical modelling, data processing, and structural analysis. 
Dislikes: Accidents.
