The Norwegian Industrial Property Office (NIPO - known as Patentstyret in Norwegian) is the government agency organized under the Ministry of Trade and Industry that is responsible for processing applications for patent protection, as well as trademark and design registration in Norway. Manage a team of 17-20 employees and a diverse array of departmental and company-wide projects. Project areas have included quality and process improvement, HR (reduction of sick leave, trade union negotiation, training/job crafting, downsizing and reassignment within the public sector), IT beta testing, change management and customer service. Involved in evaluation and contract negotation for English language class suppliers.
