Each year, more than one third of food produced in the world goes to waste, and it is responsible for 10% of all greenhouse gas emissions. Too Good To Go was born when some entrepreneurial minds got together and decided something had to be done.

The Too Good To Go app is now the world’s largest B2C marketplace for surplus food, present in 17 countries. It connects users with businesses that have surplus food, so that this food can be enjoyed instead of wasted. The idea of using technology to connect people and empower them to reduce food waste was sown in Denmark, and rapidly spread to Norway. The entrepreneurs were driven by a passion for bringing more sense to our food system, and the solution is simple: the app connects people at the right time, at the right place, to reduce food waste.

A clear path to join the fight against food waste

The win-win-win; food-people-planet concept became the epitome of the company, that gives back more than it consumes; can grow without damage, and helps everyone do something good while enjoying it! By saving more than 100 million meals from going to waste with the help of 48 million app-users across 17 countries they have proven that they have impact at scale. Yet there is a big potential for further growth, and to get there Too Good To Go needs to hire more talent.

Since the company's team is always growing, Too Good To Go has spent a lot of time to simplify and perfect its recruitment process. Too Good To Go's People & Culture Manager in Norway, Enikø Weisz, has the following to say about how they approach recruiting. "We strive to provide a transparent, fair, efficient and personal experience for all applicants. We’ll take care reading your application, and get back to you as soon as we can. Depending on the role you’re applying for, the exact application process may vary - but this is what you can usually expect";

  1. Phone Call - We kick things off with a friendly chat with a member of our People & Culture team.
  2. Assessment - We typically require you to complete a small task that's relevant to the role.
  3. Interview - You get to know the people you could be working with through structured interviews with someone from your department.
  4. Hired - That's it. We invite you to join the fight against food waste!
