Power Up is a company that works toward bringing access to clean energy to people around the world. We do this by creating solar projects in emerging markets for Norwegians to invest in. As the PR & Marketing Officer you will design and decide upon the overall PR and marketing strategy for our company. Description of role:

The role of this position is the implementation and management of the external communication and Power Up brand in Norway. The responsibilities also include developing and implementing public relations strategies towards generating awareness of Power Up in the external environment. 

In addition the position entails overall responsibility for design of marketing materials and documents for the company. The role is both strategic and operational.  

Responsibilities:


External communication 

- Develop and research on new opportunities to reach our external stakeholders 

- Overall responsible for creating different materials for external communication (e.g. reports, press-releases, articles, social media ) 

- Overall responsible for media coverage of projects and activities  

- Overall responsible for acquiring and maintaining Media Partnerships 

- Overall responsible for monitoring media appearances 

- Design and send out monthly newsletters to our investors and partners  

- Maintain website content according to the projects 

- Constant evaluation of the website efficiency in bringing visibility and attracting investors and companies 

- Develop and continuously update the Power Up’s online channels and social media channels 

Branding

- Develop and package Power Up products that will be relevant for our stakeholders 

- Overall responsible for developing and implementing strategies for the Brand audit towards investors and partners 

- Create marketing materials  

Design 

- Ensure quality content on the web page  

- Responsible for designing or support in the design of all documents and materials meant for external use 

PR and Marketing strategy 

- Develop and implement a national communication strategy and plan that will support company goals and ensure Power Up brand visibility among the external stakeholders 

- Constantly improve the conversion rate on social media, webpage and other Power Up channels  

Measures of Success 

- Number of relevant visitors on the webpage 

- Number of external appearances on other channels 

- Number of written/online media appearances. 

- Conversion rate of web site and ads 

- Growth of social media channels
